It’s a question we ask our customers at almost every order. The typical answer is, well, what do you think I need? Here’s our answer:
Of course you want shelves in your cabinets but how many in each depends on what you’re storing in the cabinet. Are you storing paint cans, boxes, electrical cords or holiday decorations? You may find that one shelf per cabinet is sufficient for your needs but in other cases you may need multiple. Make sure that when loading items on a cabinet shelf that you have ample space to move and remove the items. Also keep in mind that there should be space above the items to view what you have in the back of the cabinet. This will dictate to some degree how many shelves you can have. The simple answer is this. If you aren’t sure, go with one shelf to start. You can always order more should you find you need them. If you don’t need them, you saved yourself some money.
