The SEMA show in Las Vegas

SEMA

Wow! What a show. This year we enjoyed the biggest SEMA show in the last 3 years. Attendance was way up and the number of vendors increased dramatically over last year. We distributed a record number of catalogs and scanned almost an equal amount of admission passes for those who wanted a catalog sent directly to them. Guys and gals alike were in awe of the display this year. Woman thought kitchen and the guys thought what a man cave these would make. We even had a woman who wanted one of our mobile boxes for silverware and utensils. “Sort of a mobile island”, she said. What an idea. Creative uses for these cabinets were in abundance. Kitchens, garages, trailers, mobile homes, boats and even a fellow with an 18 wheeler that wanted cabinets under the bunk in the back of the cab. Haven’t heard back from him yet, but I’m sure he’s out there somewhere. Moduline featured a number of new items, as well as a few of our current best sellers. We brought our new 8 foot workbench in yellow with a mobile tool box to roll into the open space between the support cabinets. Then there were the stainless steel countertops; they just dazzled everyone with the fit and finish of the top. It was especially important to those who liked the idea; but hadn’t thought of putting a sink in the garage. The wives liked the sink idea because there would be no more need to make a mess in her kitchen. And we all know how important that is. Our rolling pit cart, as always, garnered a lot of attention. People are always amazed at the amount of storage space we have built into that cart. The cart includes a 7 drawer tool box and pneumatic tires, which makes it very easy to move around. It measures 32″ wide by 62″ long and provides a great unobstructed work surface. Available with aluminum, stainless or butcher block top to fit you’re needs. Mobility was definitely the theme of this years show for Moduline. We have received a lot of requests during the past year for mobile boxes and cabinets. Generally customers want to be able to move their items around in a safe and efficient manner. We listen to these requests and use shows like SEMA to preview the results for all to see. Make sure you mark November 1-4, 2011 on your calendar and plan to attend the SEMA show in Las Vegas. The Moduline display will be bigger and better than ever. More features to make that garage or shop the most efficient workplace it can be. Come to the show and be a part of this gathering of enthusiasts. Look at and learn about all the latest happenings in the automotive aftermarket. P.S. make sure you bring your best walking shoes, you’ll need them.
